The XV152 XV-152-D8-10TVR-10 150610 series HMI/PLCs can be programmed with the Galileo visualization software or CoDeSys visualization software, and programmed as a PLC with the CoDeSys-based xSoft-Codesys-2 programming system in accordance with IEC61131-3. Thanks to their small mounting depth, the panels can also be installed in confined spaces. XV152 devices support the trend towards scalable hardware and software solutions that allow machine and system builders to keep the requirements for engineering and system maintenance to a minimum. The XV152 series also supports the requirements for a modular machine design.

Eaton XXV-152-D8-10TVR-10 150610 is covering a wide application range with the five XV102 HMI/PLC variants and the new six XV152- devices. The 3.5 inch device together with SmartWire-DT pilot devices, motor starters, contactors and remote SmartWire-DT I/Os is suitable for compact “lean automation” solutions. The 5,7 inch, 7 inch, 8,4 inch and 10,4 inch devices are ideal for medium-sized machines and systems. As well as having SmartWire-DT, two standard fieldbuses, either Profibus DP and CAN, allow devices with standard fieldbus interfaces to be integrated in the automation concept.

The XV152 supports the proven SmartWire-DT communication system. It eliminates the need for control current wiring to the sensors and actuators and simplifies commissioning through improved diagnostic options. It also significantly reduces the costs for design, commissioning and maintenance. The XC152 offers various communication interfaces, including: SmartWire-DT, CAN, RS232, RS485, Profibus and Ethernet. Via the Ethernet interface, data can also be exchanged with OPC clients, thereby facilitating the connection to a central control and visualisation system.
