Two types of systems were developed for increased vibration and shock resistance. Systems of the second type use power supplies without fans, and special automotive hard disk drives that replace standard hard disk drives. The special automotive hard disk drives have a wide temperature range (0 up to +85 C), and a relatively high resistance to shock and vibration that is due a special suspension.
